Character: Dewey Ceinion
Rating: PG
Word count: 650
Prompt:
itsproductivity 4/1: Write about mail.
Dewey doesn't remember to check his mailbox every day. It doesn't really matter; he checks it a couple of times a week, and it's mostly junk anyways, catalogs and mass mailings and advertisements. Occasionally his mother will send him a package, which always makes him feel vaguely like he's back in college, and once in a blue moon Jessie will write him a letter. So he thinks nothing of it when he forgets it three days running until his sister texts him, well? and then three minutes later are you coming or not?
( what could she mean? )
